Here's a tango problem to ponder before attending the next practica!

One of the most common tango sequences involves exiting the giro to the back ocho. Everyone does it!

Watch (13 sec to 19 sec) on how it is often attempted. No the accompaning video clip isn't an elegant solution. 

Now, put on your "thinking caps." What are other possibilities?

Does the speed of the turn modify the result? 

Can you continue the movement in some way?

What works from the "followers" point of view?  

Which resolution, for example,  is most comfortable to end the backward ocho?

During the mid-point of the practica, look forward  to brainstorming and problem solving multiple possibilites for this sequence.

In addition, bring your own "problem sequences" to brainstorm and problem solve with the group. 

No one will tell you that you are doing it wrong.
